This precision magnetostrictive level transmitter uses a wave guide wire and a permanent magnet float that moves along the probe. An interrogating current pulse generates a torsional strain pulse in the wire when it interacts with the magnet's field; the pulse's return time is measured to determine float position with micron-level resolution. The magnetostrictive level sensor provides absolute, continuous level data for liquid interfaces and multiple floats simultaneously. Output options include analog, Modbus, or pulse signals. The magnetostrictive level transducer excels in high-accuracy applications like pharmaceutical batch reactors, hydraulic reservoirs, and custody transfer.
